The Kelly Reeves Memorial Foundation
Kelly Marie Reeves was born August 10, 2001. She was a loving and delightful
child, full of wonder and amazement. Her smile lit the world and made our family whole.
Kelly died on December 18, 2002. She will be forever missed by all who loved her.
The Kelly Reeves Memorial Foundation was set up in memory of Kelly. This foundation will support children’s and family organizations for educational purposes.
Since its inception, the foundation has donated over $120,000 for the window project at Holy Family School in Stow, where Kelly’s brothers attend and where she would have attended. We have now decided to provide services to others in need in our community and surrounding areas.

Building on Hope Kelly’s Grief Center Offers Support Groups
Grief is a universal emotion, one that can overwhelm children as well as adults. When we lose a loved one, there are many feelings that may need to be processed – feelings of sorrow, loneliness, and even anger.
Kelly’s Grief Center is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) that was founded in 2009 to provide support and counseling by licensed clinical counselors for adults, teens and children grieving the loss of a loved one. Kelly’s is committed to making sure help will be immediate, accessible and of the highest professional quality. The center serves individuals of all ages and offers support through both one on one counseling and/or therapy groups. These groups are designed to provide a safe and supportive setting for people to share their loss journey. Every second and fourth Tuesday of the month, three unique support groups that are developmentally appropriate (one for children, one for teens and one for adults) meet to help participants understand and work through their grief. These groups are educational and supportive and focus on teaching children, teens and adults healthy ways to cope with feelings and emotions associated with life transitions.
Facilitated by professional counselors, participants are provided the opportunity to explore the impact the loss has had and continues to have on their lives.
The mission of Kelly’s Grief Center is to provide a safe, secure and professional environment where grieving people in northeastern Ohio will find support, education and strength to begin the process of healing.
